Summer Fun

Matthew has had a busy, fun-filled week. First he and his mama went to the Georgia Aquarium along with the Lawson family.

Then on Saturday, after a few days with Papa and Grandma, Matthew went to Nanny's 90th birthday party.

He couldn't leave South Carolina without some time in the saddle

Then it was back to ballgames in Georgia. Good Times

Stayin Cool

Matthew's active lifestyle combined with a Georgia heat wave has resulted in increased sweating at the Campbell house. To beat the heat, Matthew has recently discovered the cooling effects of an oscillating fan. For now, he just stands in one place and waits for the temporary breezes. However, it shouldn't be long until he's following the fan's movement and talking into the fan to make funny noises. Getting him away from the fan is an unpleasant proposition. Another way to cool down is the wade pool.

Pick-Up Man

Matthew couldn't wait any longer. So this weekend he got turned loose in the bed of his daddy's pick-up. He walked, crawled, and climbed all over that bed; he even climbed up on the wheel well.

So Happy!

But wait, what's over there?

Another truck, with gravel in the back. The gravel didn't bother his hands or his bare feet. He'll jump at any chance to get dirty. It was okay though, he was gonna have a bath anyway.
