After some time at the Jones farm in Alabama two weeks ago, Matthew spent a weekend in South Carolina. The highlight of this past weekend was a horse show in Gilbert. Before her number was called, Danielle was kind enough to let Matthew warm up her barrel horse, Buck.

Matthew knew right away to hang on to the saddle horn. Plus it's okay to ride barefoot when your feet don't touch the stirrups. Matthew took a little trot around the pasture showing off for everybody, he was very excited and only cried when the ride stopped (he wanted to keep going).
All that riding gets mighty dusty.....
...Builds up an appetite and tires you out, too.
