Just this week Matthew has started to wave bye-bye. It started one morning when his father was leaving for work. His right arm was moving up and down with bend in the wrist and a flex in his fingers. It is still pretty infrequent and he certainly won't wave on command. He is still learning when to wave. Matthew won't wave when he is leaving, but may wave when you are leaving, or when you are taking out the trash, or when you are going to the bathroom. Although his first couple of waves were of the more adult, finger-outward facing variety. He quickly learned that it is much more fun to wave with his fingers waving back towards himself.
Matthew is also interested in moving the rugs in the house, or at least trying to find something under the rugs.
Heading to the camera with carrots still on his face.
He's figured out what the camera is and wants to see his picture.
