Trade off

Matthew's activity levels have increased dramatically. His ability to grab and hold as well as move his arms and legs make him much more fun to play with. He's also rolling over, and Sunday afternoon he rolled over from his back to his belly while his parents were watching and cheering him on. Matthew is still as loveable as ever, but he is getting to be much less huggable. Trying to hug Matthew is like trying to hug a spider monkey.

He still likes standing up

Matthew's movement also makes feedings more interesting. During his morning oatmeal he likes to grab the spoon, and the bowl, and his bib to put in his mouth, or over his head. He also likes to grab his bottle, but doesn't have the manual deterity to keep it where it needs to be yet.
Everyone is very excited about Matthew's increased motor skills, with one exception, Sadie the cat.
